MediNote Terms of Use

These terms govern access to the public MediNote website, demonstrations, and evaluation materials. Enterprise services require a separate written agreement.

Clinical safety boundaryThis public website is not a medical device, clinical service, emergency service, or substitute for professional judgment. Do not use it to diagnose, treat, prescribe, order, discharge, or make time-sensitive patient-care decisions.

1. Acceptance and permitted use

By using this website, you agree to these terms. You may review the site for informational, educational, product-evaluation, and business-evaluation purposes. You may not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use its content to violate law or another person's rights.

2. No real patient information

Do not submit protected health information, patient names, medical-record numbers, dates of birth, or other directly identifying clinical data through public website or public demonstration channels. Only synthetic or properly de-identified cases may be used unless a separately contracted, institution-approved environment expressly permits protected health information.

3. Clinician control

MediNote materials may describe decision-support, documentation, statistical, evidence, and EHR-integration capabilities. These descriptions do not transfer clinical authority to the software. Qualified clinicians and authorized healthcare organizations remain responsible for verification and every diagnosis, treatment, order, medication, communication, disposition, discharge, and signed record.

4. Epic and third-party services

Epic, medical references, payment services, hosting providers, and other third-party products are governed by their own terms and availability. References to an integration pathway do not claim endorsement, certification, production access, or a commercial relationship. Each healthcare organization independently approves and configures its own environment.

5. Intellectual property

The site, branding, product architecture, text, graphics, and original materials are owned by MediNote or its licensors and are protected by applicable law. You may not reproduce, resell, reverse engineer, or create misleading derivative claims from them except as permitted by law or written authorization.

6. Availability and changes

The public site and sandbox features may change, pause, or end without notice. Pricing, pilot scope, functionality, and integration descriptions are proposals until confirmed in a written agreement. We may update these terms when the website or applicable requirements change.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The public site is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation. To the extent permitted by law, MediNote is not liable for clinical decisions, emergencies, loss of data, indirect damages, or reliance on public demonstration content.

8. Governing agreements

If you enter a pilot, enterprise, business associate, data-processing, or other written agreement with MediNote, that agreement controls where it conflicts with these public terms. Nothing on this page is a Business Associate Agreement or a healthcare organization's Notice of Privacy Practices.
